Delivering containers to San Diego or Hawaii terminals:

Dock Receipts and Certified Weight tickets are required for container acceptance
on the terminal

TWIC cards are required for terminal access. Without a TWIC card, drivers are
given an electronic escort device. This device will allow access, but only a
limited number are allowed on the terminal at one time, so allow time for
delays. |

San Diego containers are received at the port until 3:30 p.m. the Monday before sailing.

|
|
Honolulu containers are received starting the Wednesday before sailing until the day before sailing |

Picking up containers in Hawaii or San Diego:

|
Arrival Notices and Photo ID are required to pick up containers from Hawaii or San Diego ports.

Damage Claims:
|
|
Shippers of containerized cargo only have up to three days after receiving cargo to notify Pasha Hawaii in writing of a damage claim.
Claim Forms are available on-line, at the terminal or from Pasha Hawaii Sales at (800) 288-5289 Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Documents required for Damage Claim:

|
|
1. Claim form – presented to Pasha Hawaii within three days of cargo receipt
2. Survey – provided by Customer’s insurance company
3. Two estimates for repair
4. Photographs of damage
|

|
As stated in the Pasha Hawaii Container Tariff, Pasha Hawaii’s limit of liability is $1000 per container. |
HAZARDOUS CARGO – Pasha Hawaii does not accept Hazardous Cargo in containers. Any vehicle, equipment or machine powered by an internal combustion engine fuelled by flammable liquid (petrol or diesel) or flammable gas (propane, butane and others) is Hazardous under Amendment 35 of the IMDG code (UN3166, Class 9) . These items are not acceptable for transport in containers on Pasha Hawaii.
CONTAINER PACKING – All cargo loaded in containers is to be secured with the appropriate blocking and bracing to ensure safe handling and transport via ocean freight. Shipper is responsible to load and secure cargo suitably for ocean export transportation. All container loads are Shippers Load and Count.
CONTAINER SEALS – Shippers are responsible for supplying seals to secure containers if they choose to use them. Carrier will accept containers without seals and they will be carried at shipper’s risk.
