Pasha Hawaii was recognized for consistently making safety a priority with the Jones F. Devlin Award from the Chamber of Shipping of America (CSA) at its Annual Safety Awards Luncheon.

The Jones F. Devlin Award is one of two safety programs CSA has sponsored since 1968. The award publicly recognizes the skills and dedication of the men and women who are responsible for safe vessel operations.

The Jean Anne pure car/truck carrier was recognized for its exemplary track record, operating a total of five years with no lost-time injuries (LTI).

The CSA also recognized Crowley Maritime Corp.’s global ship management group, which operates, crews, and maintains Pasha Hawaii's Jones Act containerships operating between the U.S. West Coast and Hawaii. The Horizon Pacific and Horizon Spirit vessels were recognized for operating without an LTI for three consecutive years.

“We are extremely proud of our Captains, crew members, and operations staff who go above and beyond to maintain the highest level of safety and environmental responsibility at sea and ashore,” said George Pasha, IV, President and CEO. “This award exemplifies their dedication and teamwork.”
