Container Tare Weight

The tare weight of our current fleet of 40' standard containers is slightly higher than many standard 40' containers. The additional tare weight approximates 1,500 lbs. and should be considered when loading to ensure road or carrier weight limitations are not exceeded.

Hazardous Cargo

Currently Pasha Hawaii does not accept Hazardous cargoes in containers. When we launch our second vessel mid 2014 we will have a much greater ability to handle these types of cargoes.

Dock Receipts

A dock receipt must be issued to your trucker prior to full container in-gating to our marine terminal (or inland container yard). This document must include the container number. Once the container in-gates, it is evidence of delivery of the loaded and sealed container to the terminal pier. A Dock Receipt is used to transfer accountability when the cargo is delivered to the pier and left with the carrier for transportation. This is similar to an Equipment Interchange Receipt (EIR/TIR).
