Honolulu, HI-based Pasha Hawaii today announced that the first steel plates have been cut for the M/V George III, the first of two Liquefied Natural Gas (“LNG”) fueled containerships being built at Brownsville, TX-based Keppel AmFELS, a subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine (“Keppel O&M”). The two ‘Ohana Class vessels will join the Pasha Hawaii fleet, which provides service to the Hawaii/Mainland trade lane.
Honolulu, HI-based Pasha Hawaii resumed operations last evening at Pier 1 and Pier 51 at Honolulu Harbor, after receiving an all clear from the U.S. Coast Guard and Hawaii Department of Transportation Harbors, following the passage of Tropical Storm Olivia over the Hawaiian Islands and the re-opening of all ports.

Honolulu, HI-based Pasha Hawaii resumed operations at Pier 51 today, with the arrival of its containership, Horizon Pacific. The vessel was the first to arrive in Honolulu Harbor after Pasha Hawaii received an all clear to resume cargo operations from the U.S. Coast Guard and Hawaii Department of Transportation, following the passage of Hurricane Lane over the Hawaiian Islands.
The Horizon Enterprise arrived on the West Coast yesterday, carrying 600 new refrigerated containers as part of Pasha Hawaii’s container replenishment program.
