Pasha Hawaii donates $25,000 to non-profit Hawaii Community Foundation in support of Maui Strong
Pasha Hawaii supply chain routes are fully operational as support efforts for Maui wildfire relief are underway. The company has enacted its Emergency Response Plan which includes prioritizing emergency rations, foodstuffs and medical supplies via available barge capacity to Maui and its direct vessel roll-on/roll-off service.
Pasha Hawaii and the Port of Oakland celebrated the arrival of MV Janet Marie to the Port of Oakland with a christening ceremony, marking the company’s second Liquified Natural Gas (“LNG”)-powered container ship to call the Bay Area. The Oakland Seaport is considered the gateway for containerized ocean cargo shipments in Northern California. Janet Marie is the second of two new ‘Ohana Class, 774-foot LNG-powered container ships built at AmFELS.

One year after making history by introducing Hawai‘i’s first container ship to operate on natural gas, Pasha Hawai‘i has added a second natural gas-powered container ship to its fleet. MV Janet Marie made her inaugural arrival at Honolulu Harbor’s Pier 51, completing the construction and delivery of the company’s second of two ‘Ohana Class vessels.

Hawaii-based Pasha Hawaii, together with Texas-based AmFELS (A member of Seatrium Group), today proudly announced the delivery of the MV Janet Marie, the second of two new ‘Ohana Class, 774-foot Liquefied Natural Gas (“LNG”) powered container ships built at AmFELS. The new vessel joins Pasha Hawaii’s fleet serving the Hawaii/Mainland trade lane, as well as the company’s first ‘Ohana Class vessel, MV George III, which began service on August 17, 2022.
